Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift. As we’ve built a home together over the past 8 years, we kindly request no boxed gifts. For those who wish to contribute, a gift toward our future home and wedding celebration would be greatly appreciated.

Just a little heads up for our guests: there won’t be a formal sit-down dinner at our wedding. Instead, we’ll be serving lots of delicious food throughout the night with cocktail-style service and food stations to keep everyone well fed while the party continues!Come hungry — there will be plenty to eat, drink, and enjoy.

Our Wedding

Danny and Sam met in 2015 when they both started in the tattoo industry - Danny had just moved from Ottawa to Toronto to start his tattoo apprenticeship, while Sam had just finished art school and needed a day job, which she found in the front-desk at Chronic Ink.The two became fast friends, bonding over a mutual love for art, animals, and Pokemon.In early 2017 Sam ended her previous relationship, and alongside Sam’s parents Danny helped her move into her own apartment. Within a year the two were seeing each other in secret, not wanting to stir the pot at work where Sam’s recent ex and all of their mutual friends worked together.

Back in the day

By mid 2018 the cat was out of the bag so to speak, and their relationship was made public when they travelled to Scotland together for their friend and coworker Lynsey’s wedding (hi Lynsey!)From then on the two were inseparable, quickly moving into Danny’s apartment together and amalgamating their animal families - which was a miracle because Sam’s dog (Pauline) is a bit of a grouch, but Danny’s dog (Tobi) being the sweet angel he is somehow managed to charm even her.

Since then, Danny and Sam have moved a total of 4 times, travelled to Ireland, Scotland, Italy, Mexico, and all over Canada, they’ve worked together (and separately) across multiple studios, and have dreamed of and planned their future together.The couple is so excited to celebrate their love with all of their friends and family, and to start this exciting new chapter of life ❤
